Dartmoor Woodland Accommodation

Tiger’s Tree House is set in 3 ½ acres of private woodland on the edge of Dartmoor. The only other “official” residents are the owner’s mother, an artist, and her cat, Mr Wiggins, who live in a cottage down the hill, not visible from the cabin. The woods are full of life of course. Squirrels, badgers, foxes, deer, woodpeckers, and hedgehogs abound, to name just a few. If you’re really lucky you might even clap eyes on an otter! Keen gardeners will enjoy the range of wildflowers that can be spotted including foxgloves, pink campions, vetch, celandine, wild strawberries and heady honeysuckle.

Nature lovers, keen walkers, foodies, and anyone looking for somewhere to relax and reset in comfort will enjoy the magic of Tiger’s Tree House. Get in touch now to find out more or book your stay.

Southwest Treehouse with
a log fire and views of the night sky

A vast skylight above the bed offers up a breathtaking view of the night sky, and the spacious warmly lit balcony looking south over the valley is a splendid place for an evening drink or two.

On those colder evenings, you may wish to huddle around the fire pit or head inside to sit by the log burner and enjoy some delicious local fare.

Keen cooks will enjoy the compact and fully equipped kitchen, hand-built from solid oak with a rich river worktop, patina copper splash back and butlers sink amongst its charms.

A Staycation in our Devon Cabin

The bathroom is an experience in itself, with more varnished cedar walls, a roomy rainfall shower with a view to boast about, and an ingenious compost loo. A stone basalt wash basin sitting atop a varnished slab of ash and below a huge, heated mirror adds to the opulent feel.
